The Idea
This camper version of the Kangoo is designed to be « lite »—minimal but necessary features for family travel. These modifications are non-intrusive for the vehicle (no drilling or gluing needed). Space allows 2 adults and 1 child to sleep comfortably. The +kid version is optional.

FAQ
This kit was designed for a Renault Kangoo 2, specifically the « second generation » manufactured between 2007 and 2021. However, it is possible that it may fit Kangoo versions 1 and 3 (we haven’t verified this ourselves). Don’t hesitate to ask us via the form with your measurements, and we will gladly reply to validate the feasibility!
Adult bed: 195 x 110 cm / Child bed: 140 x 60 cm.
Adult bed folded in the trunk: 110 x 65 x 36 cm.
This camper version of the Kangoo is meant to be « lite, » in the sense that we imagined the minimal but necessary features for family travel. These modifications are intended to be non-intrusive and have no impact on the vehicle (no permanent modifications required, no drilling, no gluing, etc.). The available space allows for 2 adults and 1 child to sleep comfortably. The beds are designed to be as light as possible while providing maximum comfort. The storage is simple but sufficient. It is up to you to adapt your van to your needs! The +kid version is optional.

• 1 flat wood bit (matching the diameter of your T-nut washers)
• 1 jigsaw (or router)
• 1 mallet
• 1 spirit level
• 1 screwdriver set
• 1 set of wood screws (size depending on wood thickness)
• 1 set of sandpaper (various grits)
• 1 tape measure
• 1 pencil
• 1 square
• 1 pair of scissors/cutter

The adult bed works with an accordion system, allowing for space-saving in the trunk and quick setup in a single movement. Taking up very little space, it stores like a « coffee table » and can be easily kept outside the vehicle when you are not on a road trip.
The suspended child bed offers a great sleeping surface for a child up to about 10 years old. Its horizontal locking system via simple support makes it both robust and incredibly simple to build.
Insulating your windows is not mandatory, but you will gain privacy at night as well as comfort, as the « isolbulle » material is designed to reflect the sun and keep the interior a few degrees cooler!
